Reservist rewarded for community service efforts
Tech Sgt. Frank Bernardo, 457th Fighter Squadron, was presented with a certificate for his selfless community service to the Wounded Warrior program over the past year on Friday, May 17, at the Fort Worth Civic Leader Association Community Luncheon and barbeque held at the Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base, Texas. 301st Medical Squadron May promotion ceremony
Major Holly Brewer, 301st Nutritional Medicine Flight officer in charge, is promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel in a joint-promotion ceremony Monday, May 6 at Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base, Texas. 301st Aircraft Maintenance reservists take up home building for Habitat for Humanity
Members from the 301st Fighter Wing Aircraft Maintenance Squadron joined project managers and local to help build a house for a local Fort Worth community member one Saturday in April. The local Habitat for Humanity has been around for nearly 25 years. It covers four counties and has built over 450 new homes. Two 44th Fighter Group members and one active duty 7th Fighter Squadron pilot's spouse from Holloman AFB, New Mexico, competed in the “Tough Mudder” competition in Austin, Texas, Saturday, April 20. Here one team members is traversing a water obstacle but they all ran more than 10 miles facing a total of 22 military obstacles! The Tough Mudder competition is a strong supporter of the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
