Safety, wellness remain key
We need to be alert and conduct risk management assessments - assess, balance, communicate, decide and debrief - each activity. Make adjustments if something doesn't feel right. This includes your wellness.
Checking your wellness barometer is a good way to ensure you have what it takes to execute our mission safely. Comprehensive fitness includes physical, mental, social and spiritual aspects. It's important we look at these pillars daily. After checking yours, be a good wingman and take care of your fellow Airmen as well. Airmen must take care of Airmen.
If you need assistance there are many resources available to you at the Air Force Reserve Command's wingman toolkit - http://afrc.wingmantoolkit.org/.
It is imperative that we maintain a culture that prevents mishaps to ensure we continue to deploy combat-ready Airmen.
Thanks for all you do to lead and support the best fighter wing in the Air Force.
