In conjunction with a Texas Task Force, our 73rd Aerial Port Squadron and 301st Fighter Wing Logistics Readiness Squadron took action to deliver aid to the local/state communities that are in recovery from the recent weather storm at U.S. NAS JRB Fort Worth, Texas during the week of February 14, 2021. In less than 18 hours from inception, the three organizations organized and executed the transportation of 280k lbs. of excess water (90k bottles) from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) branch in Dallas/Fort Worth area.
