SrA Kunko saved an LRS fuel delivery truck
Senior Airman Matthew Kunko, 301 FW Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels operations specialist, stands in front of the fuel delivery truck with the fire extinguisher he used to put out a vehicle fire at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas on Oct. 17, 2021. Wesley Foster, a 301st Fighter Wing’s Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels distribution operator from Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base, Texas, looks through a refractometer in the 31st Fighter Wing's Petroleum, Oils, and Lubricants lab here. A refractometer helps Foster measure the level of Fuel system icing inhibitor (FSII) in fuel to prevent freezing or clogs in aircraft fuel lines.
