301 FW warrior leaves first sergeant legacy

First Sergeant chevrons. First sergeants, or “first shirt or shirt” as they are referred to, play a vital role in the health, readiness and development of any unit. AFI 36-2113 states shirts are responsible for the squadron’s health, welfare, and morale.
