Many 301st Fighter Wing organizations have been preparing for the current ORE for many weeks. The 301st Communications Flight is no exception.

According to Master Sgt. Daryl Lamb, Superintendent of the 301 CF, they have been making preparations for most of March.

There have been a lot of long hours noted Tech Sgt. Regina Hudson, NCOIC of the 301st Communications Focal Point (CFP).

"A lot of our people have been on duty for at least 12 hours the last couple of days and  some have been on the job for 22 hours," she said.

"We've all had to be really flexible."

Preparation is really important emphasizes Sergeant Lamb.

"We know that many problems will come up and we need to be ready to handle them."
We cannot assume someone else will do it."

The preparation is a point that Sergeant Hudson readily agrees with.

"We've just had to do what had to be done," she said. "We are all up for the task, can
do what it takes and we are here for everyone."
