Wing wins fifth Air Force Outstanding Unit Award Published Feb. 2, 2009 301st Fighter Wing Fort Worth, TEXAS -- Congratulations to all 301st Fighter Wing members for winning the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award ... again! This is the fifth time in 12 years the 301st FW has won this very prestigious award. Airmen are authorized to wear this ribbon with an appropriate device provided you served anytime in the 301st FW between Oct. 1, 2006 and Sept. 30, 2008. The 301st FW could not win this award without the continual support from our 301st FW civilian employees. Fighting the Global War On Terror could not be done without you!
