Q: How long have you been with the 301st?

A: I have been with the unit since 30 October 2017.

Q: What did you want to do as a kid?

A: As a child, I wanted to be an OB/GYN Physician.

Q: Why did you join the military?

A: I joined the military because I have a passion for helping and serving others. My father and late uncle both served in Vietnam as members of the Marine Corp. Additionally, my older brother also served in both the Marines and Army. [Being impacted by] each of their experiences helped push me to get outside of my comfort zone. After the attacks on 9/11, I refused to wait any longer. Joining the military has been an absolute blessing and I am humbled and honored to serve.

Q: What is your favorite part of the job?

A: My favorite part of the job is interacting with our members and their families. My goal is to ensure the needs of the customer are met and that they know how important they are to the Wing Training Office.

Q: What are your career goals?

A: I plan to serve in the military until my retirement. Outside of the military, my husband and I plan to open a Home Health Agency servicing military veterans in the near future.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: I enjoy family time, bowling, baking, and napping (can that be considered a hobby?).  ;)

Q: What is something people might not know about you?

A: Two things: 1) I commute over an hour one way to work every day and 2) I love tattoos.

Q: Anything else you’d like to add?

A: Joining the world’s greatest Air Force has definitely been one of the best life decisions I have ever made.
