LAKE TEXOMA, Texas -- Senior leaders and commanders assigned to the 301st Fighter Wing attended the annual 301 FW Officer Leadership Summit May 3-5.
Commanders and senior leadership across the wing received tailored briefings over the course of the summit to hone their leadership tools for their toolkit.
“This has been a challenging year again and we have an opportunity here [at the summit] to share and learn,” said Col. Allen Duckworth, 301 FW commander. “You will receive information on a range of topics that will help you to be professionally resilient as you command.”
In addition to the briefings, they engaged in a series of team building exercises and networking activities.
Duckworth emphasized the importance of teamwork amongst senior leadership and commanders for the benefit of the organization.
“Let’s take the opportunity to pick brains and ask questions from our experts, along with each other,” said Duckworth. “We always want to be better and learn from our teammates.”
Senior leaders and commanders departed the summit with newfound expertise ranging from general personnel management to the roll out of various new U.S. Air Force systems that they could impress upon their units.
“As we take what we learn moving forward…because of you, I know we can do this,” said Duckworth.
