Nine 301st Airmen make rank Aug. 28

Nine Citizen Airmen from the 301st Fighter Wing here were selected for promotion Aug. 28.

Air Reserve Personnel Center announced results for the Calendar Year 2015 Air Force Reserve Line and Non Line Lieutenant Colonel Promotion Selection Boards last week. 

The following majors were among the more than 600 Reservists selected for promotion:

Maj. Gloria Awe, 73rd Aerial Port Squadron
Maj. Michael Barron, 457th Fighter Squadron
Maj. Jason Charrier, 457th Fighter Squadron
Maj. Ryan Dekok, 457th Fighter Squadron
Maj. Travis Hatley, 301st Logistics Readiness Squadron
Maj. Robert Hines (newly assigned to Eglin AFB)
Maj. David Magnuson, 2nd Fighter Training Squadron
Maj. Maria Poole, 44th Aerospace Medicine Flight
Maj Nathaniel Powell, 301st Fighter Wing Chaplain Office

The selection boards convened at ARPC June 15-19 to determine those officers best qualified to assume the next higher grade. Board members selected 619 of 1,293 officers considered.
