Aircraft incident at Nellis Air Force Base Published Aug. 16, 2015 99th Air Base Wing Public Affairs NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- At approximately 11:20 a.m. on Aug. 15, two F-16 Fighting Falcons assigned to the 301st Fighter Wing, Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base, Texas, collided shortly after landing at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., after a local sortie. The two pilots are currently undergoing medical evaluation. A safety board will convene to investigate the incident. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
