Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard teens interested in attending the Air Force Youth of the Year Camp have until April 10 to submit their nomination packages, according to Air Force Services Activity officials.

One youth each will be selected to represent the Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard at the Air Force Youth of the Year Camp in San Antonio, Texas, June 23-26.

Eligible applicants include teen dependents of AFR and ANG members. Teens interested must complete the electronic ANG-AFR Youth of the Year Application and email it to Penny Dale at penny.dale@us.af.mil not later than the deadline.

Air Force will announce camp attendees by May 4. Youths selected to represent the AFR and ANG are encouraged to attend the AF YOY Camp help in conjunction with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America Military Youth of the Year program.

All transportation, lodging, meals, and program costs while at the YoY event will be centrally funded at no cost to the participant or their unit/base.  Baggage fees, additional spending money for snacks/souvenirs and meals during travel are the responsibility of their family.
