It is a privilege and an honor to serve as the command chief for the best fighter wing in the Air Force Reserve Command. I am thankful that Colonel John M. Breazeale had the confidence and trust in my leadership abilities to select me. It is truly a blessing to represent the men and women of the 301st Fighter Wing.

As a native of Kenner, La., I enlisted in the Air Force in November 1988. My background is in the aircraft maintenance and wing safety career fields, specializing in weapons loading as well as ground/weapons safety. I've spent most of my career at Naval Air Station New Orleans Joint Reserve Base, La., rising from a weapons loader to becoming the 926th Fighter Wing ground safety manager. I then transferred to NAS Fort Worth JRB in September 2006 to fill the weapons safety manager billet at the 301st. In August 2011, I was offered an assignment at Headquarters 10th Air Force and became the ground/weapons safety manager. I returned as the 301 FW's safety and occupational health manager in October 2012 as the result of a reduction-in-force at the Numbered Air Force.

My priorities are to ensure the enlisted force has the training and resources required to accomplish the wing's mission, which is to "Train and Deploy Combat-Ready Airmen," as well as ensure all Airmen are developed and empowered to be the best they can be.

Early in my career, I learned the mission can be accomplished efficiently and effectively through teamwork. I believe that mentoring and building relationships facilitates such teamwork and empowers Airmen to accomplish the mission. Through development and empowerment we maximize our greatest asset...our Airmen.

Again, I am truly grateful for this opportunity. I look forward to being the eyes, ears, and voice of our enlisted force. I want every Airman in the 301st Fighter Wing to know that I am extremely honored to serve them as their command chief.
