301st Fighter Wing Airmen and civilians can make a difference in their communities by participating in the Combined Federal Campaign.

“CFC is a convenient way for Airmen to make charitable donations to an organization of their choosing,” said Lt. Col. John Moyer, 301st Fighter Wing executive officer and wing staff CFC representative.

The campaign runs from Oct. 11 through Nov. 10, with online donations being accepted through Dec. 15.

Contributions are completely voluntary and are given at an Airman’s discretion.

Donations can be made via MyPay for full-time civilians and active-duty Airmen. Reservists can donate online at the CFC website by credit or debit card. Wing members can also make a cash or check donation via their group CFC representative.

So far, service members at Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base, Texas, donated $600 this year. More than $211,353 has been raised by the Dallas/Fort Worth CFC in 2016.

“For more than 55 years, Military and Federal Employees have raised more than $8 billion through the CFC to help neighbors in need around the world,” said Lt. Gen. Maryanne Miller, chief of Air Force Reserve and Air Force Reserve Command commander. “Together, we have a direct and positive impact on the lives of millions of people who need our help. Each gift makes a difference at local, national, and international levels through the thousands of charities who take part in the campaign.”
