NAVAL AIR STATION JOINT RESERVE BASE FORT WORTH, Texas -- The 301st Fighter Wing is filled with amazing warriors who have amazing stories as they continue to serve the country. Tech. Sgt. Felicia Ash is one of these Airmen.
Ash, who serves the 301 FW Maintenance Group as a management support specialist in her civilian capacity, recently achieved a dream in her military career upon completion of the 14-week long Paralegal Apprentice Course (PAC) at the Judge Advocate General’s School, Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., July 2021. Transitioning from Active Duty Air Force, her passion and career decision was validated as she was recognized as the distinguished graduate among her peers.
“I was very humbled to receive the award, even though I had doubts about my success as a paralegal at the beginning of my transition from Active Duty,” Ash said. “[Completing] the PAC course and receiving distinguished graduate recognition really reassured me that I was made for this and that I will be successful.”
The Fort Worth, Texas native is eager to share her new skills in her Traditional Reservist role and possibly beyond.
“[At the PAC course], I learned that my interest the legal field is not limited to the military justice (criminal law) side of the office but also to our civil law and legal assistance missions,” she said. “… I am most excited to finally be able to serve the 301st Fighter Wing members as a member of the 301 FW legal office!”
