NAVAL AIR STATION FORT WORTH JOINT RESERVE BASE, Texas - Master Sgt. Joshua Blake, an F-16 crew chief in the 301st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron here, flew with Col. John Breazeale, commander of the 301st Fighter Wing, on a training flight Nov. 7. Following the flight, Breazeale coined Blake as he is a top performer in the wing. Before each flight, crew chiefs prepare the cockpit and ensure pilots are strapped in safely. Crew chiefs also conduct routine system maintenance before flying operations.
