Train to survive

Senior Master Sgt. Robert Safley, 301st Aircrew Flight Equipment superintendent, briefs pilots before they begin a training course in water survival at Naval Air Station Key West, Fla., Tuesday, Aug. 21. During the training at the base pool, pilots practiced basic survival skills such as operating a one-man raft, treading water and freeing themselves from a parachute canopy.
