Lt. Gen. John A. Bradley, chief of Air Force Reserve and commander of Air Force Reserve Command, enjoys the moment with Maj. Lane Beene, 457th Fighter Squadron pilot, after the general completed his 7,000th flying hour. The hours mark a major milestone in any pilot's career, but General Bradley's total military flying time is nearly twice that of the average career fighter pilot. He plans to continue flying the F-16 Fighting Falcon out of the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas, until he retires, which is scheduled for the summer of 2008.
