Lt. Gen. John A. Bradley, Chief of Air Force Reserve and Air Force Reserve Command commander, takes off as wingman with Maj. Lane Beene, 457th Fighter Squadron pilot, as the lead in a training mission that took the general into 7000 flying hours. Flight hours can mark a pilot's career experience; however, General Bradley's total military flying time is nearly twice that of the average career fighter pilot. He will continue to fly the F-16 Fighting Falcon out of Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas, until his retirement next summer.
