Tech. Sgt. Lyles, Sr., 47, passed away Sept. 13, 2006, at his home. He's now laid to rest at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Sergeant Lyles originally joined the 301st Fighter Wing back in May 1987. He left us briefly for a year to work at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla. Then, he returned for his final assignment here in April 2005.
