Wings of history take pilot down memory lane
In 1988, Bruce Cox, a junior at Texas A&M University and member of the Corps of Cadets, was eager to experience his first official flight in the backseat of an F-16 Fighting Falcon with the 457th Fighter Squadron at then Carswell Air Force Base, Texas. This young fighter pilot-to-be has nearly three decades ahead of him flying this aircraft in peace and in the War on Terrorism. (Courtesy Photo)
