Peter MacDonald Sr., a Navajo Code Talker, speaks to a crowd Friday, March 20 at Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base, Texas. During World War II more than 300 Navajo were recruited by the U.S. Marine Corp for the purposes of developing an unbreakable code, which they did so successfully.
