Fort Worth active associate unit activates as WWII fighter squadron
NAVAL AIR STATION FORT WORTH JOINT RESERVE BASE, Texas – Lt. Col. Jeffrey Cunningham, 355th Fighter Squadron commander, addresses the audience Oct. 5 gathered to witness the World War II fighter squadron re-designation ceremony here. The 355 FS, who flies the F-16 Fighting Falcon alongside the 301st Fighter Wing, is the first active associate fighter squadron within the Air Force Reserve.
