301st Medics take readiness into realism
Airmen from the 301st Medical Squadron load a patient on a litter into a vehicle as part of their mandatory deployment training. Nearly 100 Reservists received this training June 23 at the Medical Readiness Training Center at Camp Bullis, San Antonio, Texas. Reservists established and operated an Expeditionary Medical Support (EMEDS) facility complete with an emergency room, ambulatory care, lab, radiology, pharmacy, Bio-Environmental/public health, dental, operating room, intensive care, nursing care and command capabilities.
