Under simulated-fire, 301st Medical Squadron Reservists retrieve wounded service members as an instructor observes how the medics tend to the wounded June 22 during a week-long mandatory deployment training. Nearly 100 Reservists from the 301 MDS trained June 22-26 at the Medical Readiness Training Center at Camp Bullis, San Antonio, Texas where they established and operated an Expeditionary Medical Support (EMEDS) facility. The EMEDS included an emergency room, ambulatory care, lab, radiology, pharmacy, Bio-Environmental/public health, dental, operating room, intensive care, nursing care and command capabilities.
