Tour educates Dallas STEM students
Tech. Sgt. Tanner Caldwell, 301st Operations Support Flight Aircrew Flight Equipment craftsman, demonstrates a portion of the egress simulator that F-16 pilots receive as their annual training requirements. Eighteen students from the Dallas Aviation Career Education (ACE) Academy visited the 301st Fighter Wing, Navy and Marines at Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base, Texas, June 8, 2017, for a tour designed to educate them on different aspects of the military. The ACE Academy has been actively involving eighth through 12th grade students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) activities since the early 1990s.
