301FW informs Lake Worth residents on environmental impact process
Capt. Chad Lutz, 301st Fighter Wing’s F-35A Program Integration officer and F-16 pilot, talks to a local homeowners association about the current F-35A Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) scoping process May 6, 2018, in Fort Worth, Texas. The EIS, required under the National Environmental Policy Act, identifies community concerns and local issues for consideration during this stage. Community involvement remains an essential part of this effort and local area residents can still submit comments at http://www.afrc-f35a-beddown.com until May 11, 2018. The fighter wing is one of four locations the Air Force is considering to house the F-35A. (U.S. Air Force photo by Julie Briden-Garcia)
