301 FW Base Civil Engineers Break Ground in Dynamic Environment
With the U.S. Navy being the host unit aboard U.S. Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, operating on a joint base presents a unique working dynamic for the 301st Fighter Wing Base Civil Engineers. BCE engineering section works independently from the Navy, while the operations section works in collaboration with them. On the operations side, the Navy functions like a contractor; BCE requests and pays them to complete work orders. Strategic communication also plays a key role in this joint environment.
