301 FW commander recognizes 44 FG excellence

Rodney Hankerson, 44th Fighter Group Weapons Section chief during the wing's visit to the 44 FG at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., March 4. Hankerson, who also works in the same position as a civilian, recently won the Gen. Leo Marquez Award at the AFRC level for Aircraft Maintenance Civilian Technician category. This award recognizes base-level civil service aircraft, munitions and missile maintenance personnel who perform hands-on maintenance or manage a maintenance function.
